Using sensors for soil moisture, weather, forecast data, and real-time feedback, the system helps farmers optimize inputs (like water) and manage risk from climate variability.
On May 20, 2025, Uganda’s Parliament passed a contentious bill authorizing the military courts to try certain civilians, overturning a Supreme Court judgment that had previously barred such trials.
