    January 15, 2026 Elections: Full List of NUP MPS in Buganda, Busoga and Bugisu Regions.

    The National Unity Platform (NUP) has registered significant gains in Busoga Region from the January 15, 2026 elections, increasing the number of MPS on its ticket from one in the 2021 elections, of only Margaret Kyebakutikka representing Jinja as Woman MP now contested as an independent, although she lost.

    The ruling NRM party gained 55 parliamentary seats in Buganda and maintained some notable gains in Busoga.

    Despite NRM’s capture of several constituencies in Buganda and Busoga, NUP remains a dominant player in the two sub regions.

    Herewith is a full list of confirmed NUP MPs elect with their areas of representation:
