The Uganda Professional Science Teachers’ Union (UPSTU) held regional science innovation project competitions (Central, Eastern etc.). Students developed projects in health, ICT, environment, and agriculture — e.g. compost tumbler, hand-gesture controlled wheelchair, smart school systems.
